Discover Estonia
Estonia is a small Baltic nation that's both ancient and futuristic! The capital Tallinn has one of the best-preserved medieval old towns in Europe with cobblestone streets, Gothic spires, and city walls you can walk on. But Estonia is also one of the world's most digitally advanced countries - it was the birthplace of Skype, and nearly all government services are online. Estonians were among the first to have digital ID cards and can even vote from their computers!
Beyond technology, Estonia is covered in beautiful forests (over 50% of the country!), dotted with thousands of islands, and has pristine beaches along the Baltic Sea. Estonian culture celebrates nature, with midsummer bonfires, forest walks, and singing traditions. The country has a unique "Song Festival" where 100,000 people gather to sing together - it's so important it helped Estonia gain independence peacefully in the "Singing Revolution." Estonian cuisine includes hearty rye bread, smoked fish, and sweet kama. From medieval architecture to cutting-edge tech, Estonia shows us how to honor history while embracing the future!
