Discover Tonga
Tonga is a stunning Polynesian kingdom spread across 169 islands in the South Pacific! Known as the "Friendly Islands," Tonga is the only Pacific nation that was never colonized and maintains its ancient monarchy. The kingdom is famous for incredible humpback whale watching - every year from June to October, these majestic giants migrate to Tonga's warm waters to breed and give birth, and you can even swim with them!
Tongan culture is deeply rooted in tradition, with respect for the royal family, church, and community at its heart. Traditional dance, tapa cloth making, and wood carving are treasured arts. The islands offer pristine white-sand beaches, crystal-clear lagoons perfect for snorkeling, and dramatic blowholes where ocean waves shoot water high into the air. From exploring ancient stone monuments called the Ha'amonga 'a Maui Trilithon to tasting traditional 'umu (earth oven) feasts, Tonga offers a glimpse into authentic Polynesian island life.
