Music eBooks
Students are taken on an educational journey of a country when they join the Can Do Kids Band on their ‘Follow the Music and Learn’ World Tour. The music of the country visited plays in the background, as information is shared by individual band members. The text within the pages is highlighted and synchronized to the audio to support all levels of comprehension and reading.
Explorer's Guides
Empowers students to explore a country using a multi-media interactive slide show that has been designed to align to the curriculum. Students control their journey through the pages and complete activities which test student’s comprehension and recall skills of important facts and key learning areas.
Picture Videos
Real-life images provide a sensory experience and the opportunity to learn about the people and places referenced in the lyrics of the songs and background music.
Educational Games
Our range of educational games have been created for students to complete as part of their overall travel experience through a country.
The games have been designed to support students learning, comprehension and recall of important factual information that aligns with curriculum outcomes.
Links and hints have been built into the games to support different learning levels and ensure all students feel a sense of achievement and success when using this resource.
Travel Tasks
Teachers are able to easily set tasks, with start dates and due dates, for work to be completed by students either in class or at home.
There is an option for teachers to automatically reward students with a country passport stamp once they have completed the Travel Tasks assigned to them.
Travel tasks can be assigned to a whole class, a small group or an individual student, to ensure all learning levels are catered for.
Writing Tasks
Our writing task templates not only encourage and develop a student’s reflective writing skills. They also allow for practice of sentence structure, spelling and punctuation.
Teachers can use our existing writing templates or easily create one of their own. Once the writing task has been created, it can be set as part of the student’s Travel Tasks
Can Do Kids Passport
The Can Do Kids Passport has been designed to encourage students to explore the site and complete the activities and games within each of the countries visited.
Students are given a Passport at the beginning of their user journey, which they can personalise with their name, country of birth, age, favourite food and dream destination, if they wish.
Seeing their colourful collection of passport stamps grow motivates students to continue on their virtual world tour and provides them with a sense of achievement and a record of their success.
Teachers have flexibility as to how and when a stamp is awarded. This ensures all levels of learning are catered for and effort can be rewarded at their discretion.
