Overview
Can Do Kids Worldwide is a teacher-led online classroom resource. Schools control who is invited, which classes participate, and how the platform is used within their own policies and classroom supervision.

1. Privacy and Safeguarding Documents
Read our full policies for detail beyond this summary:
A school Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request for participating schools. Contact hello@candokidsworldwide.com.
2. Information Collected
We collect only information needed to operate and support the school's use of the platform:
- Students: Display name or school identifier, account ID, school and class membership, and progress, task and assessment activity — used to provide learning activities and let teachers view learning progress.
- Teachers and administrators: Name, email address, school membership, role, account and platform activity — used to set up and manage school access, classes and support.
- All users: Technical and usage information such as sign-in events, browser/device information and pages or features used — used to secure the service, diagnose issues and improve learning experiences.
We do not sell student or teacher data, use it for behavioural advertising, or create commercial marketing profiles of children.
3. Student Accounts
Students use individual, school-managed accounts to join a teacher's class and save their learning progress. A student can be identified by a first name, nickname or school-assigned identifier; student email addresses are not required for class-code enrolment. Schools decide the identifiers they enter and can manage or remove access.
4. Trial Feedback and Data
During a trial, we may invite teachers to complete a feedback survey. It asks about the learning aims, session outcomes, navigation, student independence and engagement, age suitability, strengths and improvements.
CDKW uses trial feedback and aggregated platform activity to assess the learning experience, identify technical issues and improve the platform. Access is restricted to authorised CDKW personnel. We do not sell or disclose identifiable trial data to third parties. When a trial ends without a continuing agreement, a school can request deletion of its associated data.
5. Technical Requirements
The platform is web-based and requires no software installation or app download.
- A current version of Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge or Firefox
- An internet-connected tablet, laptop, desktop computer or mobile device, including Chromebooks and iPads
- Browser cookies and local storage enabled for secure sign-in and saved learning progress
- School network access to candokidsworldwide.com, app.candokidsworldwide.com, Firebase, Google-hosted content delivery services and Vimeo (used for classroom videos)
- A teacher or school administrator to set up and supervise the school account and classes
A typical school internet connection is enough. Quizzes and reading use very little bandwidth; videos and music use more, so if a class can stream video together, the rest of the platform will work comfortably.
For schools with more limited wifi or computer equipment, we can provide printable copies of some materials so students can still take part. This should be arranged in discussion with Can Do Kids Worldwide.
Schools should apply their usual device management, internet filtering and student-supervision procedures.
