The Can Do Kids Band website offers teachers the opportunity to take students on a journey of discovery of cultures, customs and countries.

Images, videos, audio clips, animations and music have been carefully designed to provide students with a unique way of learning about the world in which they live.

Interactive resources and games encourage students to explore the Can Do Kids Band website. Curriculum aligned resources that are adaptable to all types of learners and classroom ready teaching tools are available to educate students, so they can become informed global citizens.

Admin & Teacher Dashboards

These Dashboards provide teachers with information and statistics to effectively monitor and manage each students progress as they work through the tasks they have been allocated.

The Teacher Dashboard provides an overview on the progress of individual classes in completing set Travel and Writing Tasks.

The Admin Dashboard provides an overview on all Classes, Teachers and Students.

Students, Teachers & Classes

The Admin Screen, provides the Administrator in a School with access to information on each Teacher, Class and Student who are enrolled in the Can Do Kids Band website.

From within the Class Tab screen, the Administrator can create Class names, assign Teachers and add and remove Students as required.

From within the Teacher Tab screen, new Teacher accounts can be created and managed.

From within the Student Tab, Student accounts can be created and managed.

Setting Travel Tasks

Teachers can create, set and manage Travel Tasks to assign to a whole class, a group of students or an individual student.

The New/Upcoming Tasks tab displays both the current and pending tasks that have been set.

The Past Tasks tab allows Teachers the option to edit and change due dates on set tasks, for a whole class or individual students, at their discretion.

Creating Writing Tasks

Creative Writing Tasks for students to complete online are set from this tab. A Writing Task can be assigned from one of the available online templates or Teachers can create their own.

Writing Tasks can be customised by Teachers to meet specific outcomes. Prompts, questions and images, as well as word limits and due dates can be added, so Teachers can set work for their students to complete online.

Writing Tasks, once created, can be assigned to each Student’s Home Page, as a Travel Task.

Student Progress

The progress of each individual Student can be monitored through the assigned Writing and Travel Tasks.

Teachers can choose to add or remove Country Stamps on a Student’s Passport. This ensures all students feel a sense of achievement and can be rewarded for their efforts, even if they may be struggling to complete all tasks set.
